FERRIDAY — Services for William Lemuel Wynn, 51, of Leesville, La., who died Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011, in Leesville, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday with the Rev. Timmy Blalock officiating.

Burial will follow at Ogden Cemetery in Liddieville, La., under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Wynn was born May 26, 1960, in Natchez, the son of Benjamin Franklin Wynn III and Maybelle Wright Wynn. He was a 1978 graduate of Ferriday High School and attended Louisiana State University where he received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

Lamuel proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, retiring as a staff sergeant with 20 years of proud service.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Zella Wynn; two sons, Justin Wynn and Benjamin Wynn, both of Leesville; his mother; two brothers, Benjamin F. Wynn IV and wife, Marilyn, of Natchitoches, and James Wynn and wife, Kathy, of Leesville; one sister, Becky Book and husband, Nelson, of Ferriday; and a number of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Bradley Burton, Charles Walker, Joseph Hamilton, Kenneth “Kenny” Curry, Nelson Book Jr. and Sam Blount.
