NATCHEZ — Services for Juanita Norman Wright, 79, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011, in Natchez, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Parkway Baptist Church with the Rev. Jeff Brewer and the Rev. Alex Craft officiating.
Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the church.
Mrs. Wright was born March 1, 1932, in Winnsboro, La., the daughter of Charlie and Rosa Norman. She was a homemaker and a nurse’s aid. She was also a member of Parkway Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 10 siblings; one grandson, Christopher Welch; and one great-grandson, Ryder Quinn.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Donald D. Wright; three daughters, Maryrose Wright Welch of Natchez, Gwen Wright Watts and husband, Claude, of Brandon and LaJuana Wright Via and husband, Acie, of Richmond, Va.; seven grandchildren, Kristi Williams and husband, Bill, Kim Wyatt and husband, Chuck, Amy Quinn and husband, Joe, Michelle Haimson and husband, Dr. Robert Haimson, Carolyn Welch and partner, Vicky Elliott, Donald Via and Jessica Via; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bill Williams, Bob Haimson, Chuck Wyatt, Claude Watts, Don Via and Joe Quinn.
