WOODVILLE — Memorial services for James Wren “Foozie” Forman, 64, a resident of Woodville for 42 years, who died Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2011, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. today at Woodville Baptist Church with the Rev. Rob Muncy and the Rev. Eugene Case officiating.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time today at the church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Newman Funeral Home in Centreville.
Mr. Forman was born Aug. 2, 1947, in Magnolia, the son of Ardry Van Forman and Mamie Toney Forman. He served as chief of police for Woodville for 39 years. He was retired.
Mr. Forman was Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and one sister.
Survivors include his wife, Cecelia Ford Forman; two sons, Daniel Wren Forman of Woodville and Stephen Burton Forman and wife, Margaret Elizabeth, of Dallas; three sisters, Barbara Garner of Magnolia, Betty Sandifer and husband, Audrey, of Jackson and Mamie Kirk and husband, David, of Pocahontas, Tenn.; and two brothers, Glenn Forman and wife, Deborah, of Magnolia and Bobby Foreman and wife, Paula, of Gulfport.
Memorial donations may be made to Wilkinson County Christian Academy in Woodville.
