MEADVILLE – Services for Mary Lee Cameron, 74, of Meadville, who died Sunday, Dec. 24, 2006, at Franklin Memorial Hospital, in Meadville, will be 1 p.m. Friday at New Fork United Methodist Church.
Burial will follow at Meadville Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.
Mrs. Cameron was born Nov. 4, 1932, in Oxford, the daughter of Dewitt and Rosie Parham.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Glen Cameron Sr.
Survivors include a loving and devoted husband, Isreal Cameron of Meadville; sons, Dannye Cameron, Raymond Cameron and Larry Cameron; stepdaughter, Glenda Brown; brother-in-law, Raymond Cameron; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

VIDALIA – Funeral arrangements for Rosa Lee “Sister” Smith, 78, of Vidalia, who died Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2006, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, are incomplete at Concordia Funeral Home, Ferriday.
Marguerite Walls
March 22, 1922 – Dec. 26, 2006
NATCHEZ – Services for Marguerite Walls, 84, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2006, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with Bryant Reed officiating.
Burial will follow at Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
Ms. Walls was born March 22, 1922, in Kentwood, La., the daughter of Hugh Henry and Mary Lee Albritton Walls. She moved with the family to Natchez at an early age and attended Natchez Public Schools. Following graduation, she worked for the Natchez Democrat and was Deputy Clerk in the Chancery Clerk’s office. She later attended Asbury College, Wilmore, Ky., and thereafter established herself as a secretary with the Methodist Home-Hospital in New Orleans. After having worked there for many years, she embarked upon a new career as an administrator with the law firm of Kullman-Lang in New Orleans. Upon retirement, Ms. Walls returned to Natchez to make her home. She was a member of Jefferson Street United Methodist Church and sang in the its choir.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Clinton Walls and Ray Walls; sisters, Lexie Blythe, Ella Bowlin, Lois Magoun, and Frances Drouant.
Survivors include her sisters, Maloy Williams of Austin, Texas and Juanita Hooks of Columbus; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Pallbearers will be Michael Bowlin, Ralph Magoun, Alvin Walls, Brian Maier, Bruce Maier, Robert Drouant, and Richard Drouant.
Memorials may be made to Jefferson Street United Methodist Church or a charity of choice preferred.
Ronnie Sanford
Nov. 4, 1954 – Dec. 26, 2006
VIDALIA – Services for Ronnie Sanford, 52, of Vidalia, who died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2006, at Riverland Medical Center, Ferriday, will be 2 p.m. Friday at Westside Baptist Church with Bro. Raymond Eames and Bro. Randy Coleman officiating.
Burial will follow at Carlton Family Cemetery, in Jonesville, under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home, Ferriday.
Visitation will be at 5 p.m. today at the church.
Mr. Sanford was born Nov. 4, 1954, in Jonesville, the son of Clyde Leroy Sanford and Vera Carlton Sanford. He was a resident of Vidalia and worked as an automobile mechanic.
Survivors include his parents, Clyde Leroy Sanford and Vera Carlton Sanford, both of Ferriday; sons, Tommy Sanford and wife, Mandy, of Natchez and Timothy Sanford of Vidalia; daughter, Alicia Sanford of Vidalia; brothers, Delton Sanford and wife, Loretta, of Natchez and Fuzz Sanford of Ferriday; sister, Cindi Lloyed of Ferriday; grandson, Cameron Cox of Vidalia; granddaughter, Cara Sanford of Natchez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Terry Evans, Bryne Schulli, Joey Scott, Gary Carlton, Billy Carlton, Stewart Evans, and Dickie Evans.

JONESVILLE – Services for Patricia “Patti” Posey Haden, 45, of Gulfport, formerly of Jonesville, who died Monday, Dec. 25, 2006, in Jackson, will be 1 p.m. Friday at Sandy Lake Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Joel Ford and the Rev. Danny Chance officiating.
