FERRIDAY — A Ferriday man was beaten, shot and robbed at his Levens Addition Road residence Saturday afternoon.

According to a news release from the Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office, the victim, George Gibson, 32, told CPSO investigators that three men broke into his home, beating and shooting him in the leg before taking the money from his pocket.

Gibson’s residence is in the 600 area of Levens Addition Road. The victim received treatment at an Alexandria hospital and has been released.
