NATCHEZ — Natchez singles won’t get their chance at true love on the Oprah Winfrey Network show “Lovetown, USA.”

Mayor Jake Middleton said Natchez was eliminated from the running to be the shooting location of the match-making reality television show.

Middleton said members of the show’s production team expressed interest in using Natchez for future projects during their visit to town last month.

“It was definitely a positive experience and a postive thing for Natchez that could lead to something in the future,” he said.
