River Rats to come out in Natchez tonight

The month of February brings Mardi Gras, and Mardi Gras brings rats and brass.
Tonight, Natchez will be infested by a Krewe of River Rats and they’re bringing a brass band with them.
Bobby J’s Lounge will be the site of the second ever Krewe of River Rats Mardi Gras Ball.
The KORR is a fun loving group of nocturnal partygoers that was formed in 1986.
After a nearly 20-year hangover, the Krewe is ready to party hard again and this time they’ve brought a bit of New Orleans with them.
Performing at the ball will be the Soul Rebels, a band fresh off the streets of New Orleans.
The jazz and second line group first begin to gain fame performing with the Neville Brothers, and have since gone on to open for the likes of groups such as the Counting Crows to the The Fugees.
The Rats will begin to party and the Rebels will start blowing at around 9 p.m.
Admission is $15 at the door, and all proceeds will go to the band.
