Bank angel made bad day a better one

On Monday afternoon, Jan. 22, at approximately 2:30 p.m., someone found my purse unattended in a Wal-Mart buggy and took it.
They could have been an angel that day and turned it into the customer service department in the store, where I could have claimed it and gather my possessions back without the heartache and trouble it caused me. But instead, their choice was to take what was mine with them.
I went quickly to the branch bank, where Sandra Smith stopped my checking account and charge card.
She called the social security office and offered me money to get another driver’s license, since my money had been taken.
She also gave me her glasses to read with when I got to the highway patrol office. Sandra got my new bank account started, gave me more checks and helped me with my draft accounts.
Now there was my angel.
I’m praying for the person who took my purse to leave it at a place that’s safe so I can have some things back that are of no value to anyone but me. I would appreciate it.
