If the mayor is interested so much in protecting the citizens’ welfare by tearing down the pecan factory, then my question is, why doesn’t he issue an order to tear down all of the abandoned homes in Natchez (north side) that are currently being used by drug users and dealers to conduct their illegal and criminal activities?

The houses also serve as a serious eye sore for the city.

That is a question to ask the mayor!
