City wrecking crews have work left to do

Since the city is now in the “demolition” business, I would like to point out one that is ready for the wrecking ball.
This eyesore and safety hazard is located on one of our most traveled thoroughfares. On the corner of Dunleith Street and Homochitto Street is the shell of a former business that someone apparently has made into a drive through.
Note the gaping hole facing Dunleith Street. Peering through this huge hole one will find an ample supply of empty beer bottles and other forms of garbage strewn throughout.
This structure is located near several neighborhoods, and is an accident waiting to happen.
No, it does not boast a river front view as the pecan factory once did, but never the less, it offers a balcony that is barely attached, and will one day soon flatten a vehicle traveling down Homochitto Street.
Whom ever the property owner is needs to be held accountable.
