Kindness of Natchez carries a long way

We wish to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to all the many individuals in Natchez who have welcomed us with grace, generosity, and warmth far beyond our expectation or experience elsewhere.
As residents of Los Angeles, our initial encounter with Natchez arose from academic pursuits pertaining to the city’s historical importance.
However, our interest in, and affection for, Natchez quickly broadened.
The kindness of its people has influence far beyond any other consideration.
We therefore feel particularly honored to have acquired a tangible, enduring connection with the city, having recently purchased a residence near downtown.
While our primary residence remains Los Angeles, we look forward to increasing our ties to Natchez to the extent that time permits.
Again, to the many people who have conveyed to us their sincere welcome, we say thank you.
