Ashley Kirby had one of the best games of her career as she had four hits and drove in five runs as the Block Lady Bears rolled to a 23-1 win over the Sicily Island Lady Tigers Monday afternoon.

In addition to two singles, Kirby had a two-run double during a six-run second inning and a two-run home run during an 11-run third inning and she scored three runs.

Sicily Island was no match for Block (3-1), which jumped out to a 5-0 lead at the end of the first inning of this five-inning contest and never looked back.

Winning pitcher Misty Davis struck out five and allowed no hits in three innings on the mound, She also had a two-run double in the bottom of the third inning. Hannah Coldiron also had a superb performance at the plate with three hits, including two doubles, and two RBIs.
