Mr. James Mims of Natchez and Ms. Kay Mims of Brandon announce the engagement of their daughter, Whitney Mims to Justin Dollar, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robbie Dollar of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Cathedral High School in Natchez and a graduate of Hinds Nursing School in Jackson. She is employed by Natchez Regional Medical Center.

She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louie Jones of Bude and the late Patsy Jones and Mr. Robert Mims of Natchez and the late Virginia Mims.

The groom-to-be is also a graduate of Cathedral High School and a graduate of Mississippi State University in Starkville. He is employed by the Natchez Water Works.

He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Sammy Eidt, Bobbye Dollar and Woodrow Dollar Sr., all of Natchez.

The wedding will be at 4 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012, at Natchez Memorial Park.
