Lady Wolves shut out at Forest Tuesday afternoon

After being held without a run in the first two innings, Forest’s bats woke up as the Lady Bulldogs scored in the final three innings of a 10-0 win over the Monterey Lady Wolves Tuesday afternoon.
Granted, Monterey (2-9, 0-1) has struggled at the plate for most of the season, but in the District 3-B opener for both teams, head coach Hazel Brallier didn’t expect her team to end up with no hits.
But that’s how good Forest pitcher Jessi (no last name given) was on the mound. At the plate, Hailey hit a home run while Brittany was 2-for-3 with a triple. The Lady Bulldogs ended the game early by scoring seven runs in the bottom of the fifth inning.
