FAYETTE — Services for Georgia Mae Patterson, 63, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011, at her residence, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Jefferson Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Jefferson.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church.
Miss Patterson was born April 1, 1948, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Evans and Dorothy Lee Ware Patterson. She was a member of L.F.&C. Society and Y.P.I.A. Society.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister; and two brothers.
Survivors include two daughters, Vanessa Tyler of Brookhaven and Christine Crockett and husband, Dirk, of Augusta, Ga.; three sons, Charlie King Jr. of Augusta, Ronald Merritt and wife, Carissa, of Vicksburg and Donald Merritt and wife, Ivy, of Fayetteville, N.C.; two sisters, Gertrude Norman of Natchez and Pearlene Patterson of Fayette; one brother, Ralph Patterson and wife, Rose, of Natchez; two aunts, Matida Jackson and husband, James, of Newellton, La., and Julia Ware of Church Hill; 12 grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
