FERRIDAY — Services for Rosie Jones Jackson, 62, of Ferriday, who died Sunday, Nov. 27, 2011, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Greater St. Reed Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Jones officiating.

Burial will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Ms. Jackson was born Aug. 13, 1949, in Ferriday, the daughter of Esau and Alice White Jones.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; and four sisters.

Survivors include one daughter, Julane Jackson-Singleton and husband, Thaddaus Jr.; one son, Mangrant Jackson, all of Ferriday; five brothers, the Rev. Richard Jones and Nathaniel Jones, both of Houston, Texas, Jimmy Jones of Los Angeles, Lem Jones of Ferriday and Fred Jones of Tallulah, La.; six sisters, Edith Conner of Vicksburg, Shirley Walker of Newellton, La., Virginia Rogers and Pearline Douglas, both of Las Vegas; Augusta Turner of Monroe, La., and Daisy Crockett of Clinton; and 12 grandchildren.
