FERRIDAY — Tuesday night’s game between the Natchez High Lady Bulldogs and the Ferriday Lady Trojans was one of experience and depth against youth and inexperience.

Ashley Minor led Natchez High with 15 points and Rashonae Rice had 12 points and its defense stymied Ferriday for much of the ball game as the Lady Bulldogs easily defeated the Lady Trojans 60-26.

Ferriday (0-2) was led by Shakeria Kelly with 15 points, but she got very little help from her teammates. Natchez High (7-1) dominated Ferriday and took advantage of the Lady Trojans’ young team with its stifling defense. At the end of the first half, the Lady Bulldogs led the Lady Trojans 36-12. And with the Lady Bulldogs leading 56-18 at the end of three quarters, head coach Sue Johnson emptied her bench.
