A student at the Ferriday Educational Center was arrested Tuesday on charges of carrying a weapon on school property.
Samuel Williams, Jr., 18, was arrested by the Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office School Resource Officer for allegedly carrying a pocketknife into the school in his backpack Tuesday morning, Public Information Officer for the CPSO Kathleen Stevens said.
Three other students, all juvenile females, were also booked by the CPSO on charges of disturbing the peace by fighting. One of the juveniles, 15, is also charged with battery of a school official, Stevens said.
