NATCHEZ — Services for Mose Edward Warren, 60, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011, at the Mississippi Baptist Hospital in Jackson, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Pine Grove Baptist Church in Stampley with the Rev. Elvin Frye officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church.

Mr. Warren was born Feb. 16, 1951, in Natchez, the son of Arthur Warren and Augusta Green Warren. He was employed by Genesis-Energy of Ruston, La., formerly Davison Transport, Inc., as a truck driver.

Mr. Warren was a member of Forest Aide Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Claude A. Stampley and Aaron Fulton.

Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Brooks Warren; five daughters, Amber Groom and husband, Kevin, of Angola, La., Ashley Willis and Sydney Brooks, both of Natchez, Carmen Brooks Spears and husband, Terrence, of Jackson and Stephanie Jackson and husband, Jerry, of Madison; one son, Shonde Hunt of Dallas; three grandchildren, Malike Hunt of Dallas, Jakalin Adams and Jaleel Adams, both of Natchez; two brothers, Semo “Bo” Warren and Alvin Griffin and wife, Martha, all of Natchez; one sister, Cheryl Randall and husband, Clarence, of Vidalia; one aunt, Mamie Lee Mazique; one uncle, Lee Arthur Davis of Stampley; mother-in-law, Rebecca Brooks of Natchez; two sisters-in-law, Iris Rice and husband, Charley, and Robbie Gaylor Fulton, all of Natchez; five brothers-in-law, the Rev. James Brooks and wife, Evelyn, Joseph Brooks and wife, Rita, and Gilmer Brooks, all of Natchez, Don Brooks and wife, Gloria, of Washington, D.C. and Leroy Brooks and wife, Martha, of Maryland; one goddaughter, Jakayla Cage of Dallas; and a number of other relatives and friends.
