“Mission World Tour 2007” emphasizes the far-reaching nature of the kingdom of God. The ministry of Christ and His followers, who are God’s children, extends beyond the walls of the local church. While His children may be distinguished by lingual, cultural and racial differences, we are all saved by grace through faith. His children can be recognized by our common love for Christ and one another.
In support of this theme, we should remember Paul’s message to the Jewish and Gentile saints of Ephesusin Ephesians 1:3-6, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.”
