FERRIDAY — Two Ferriday men face charges of aggravated battery after allegedly pistol-whipping a juvenile earlier this week.
Moecke J. Hawkins, 20, 216 Second St., and Frederick E. Frazier, 20, 212 Second St., were allegedly fighting with a Ferriday teen in the area of the city swimming pool when one of them allegedly struck the teen with a handgun, Ferriday police officials said.
It is unclear whether Hawkins or Frazier struck the teen with the gun, officials said.
Hawkins and Frazier were transferred to the Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office Wednesday, and are being detained without bond.
This is latest in a string of recent incidents involving guns in Ferriday, including two attempted murders and three aggravated assaults.
