FERRIDAY — Services for Ruby Miller Waltman, 84, of Ferriday, who died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011, in Ferriday, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Young’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Williams officiating.

Burial will follow at Legion Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Waltman was born April 7, 1927, in Cotton Valley, La., the daughter of Hugh Burt Miller and Virginia Flaherty Miller. She was a homemaker and a member of Hill Memorial Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 13 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, James “Jimmy” Waltman; one brother, Leonard Miller of Gulfport; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
