NATCHEZ — A benefit for Shane Seyfarth has been planned beginning at noon Saturday at Duncan Park.
Seyfarth, 38, was diagnosed in January with rectal colon cancer.
Seyfarth, a single father of two, does not have insurance and has not been able to work since his diagnosis. He is scheduled to have surgery in May.
“A Day in the Park for Shane” will raise money for the Shane Seyfarth Fund and includes a golf scramble, silent auction, food and children’s games.
The four-man scramble begins with a shotgun start at 8 a.m.
