WOODVILLE — Services for Frank Ellis Bell Jr., 68, a lifelong resident of Woodville, who died Monday, Nov. 14, 2011, at Field Memorial Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Woodville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Rodney Smith officiating.
Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Newman Funeral Home in Centreville.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday, both at the church.
Mr. Bell was born July 10, 1943, the son of Frank Ellis Bell Sr. and Mary Katherine Morris Bell. He was a cattleman. He was also a member of Woodville United Methodist Church, the Mississippi Cattlemen’s Association, an avid sportsman and supporter of Wilkinson County Christian Academy. Mr. Bell served in the U.S. Navy.
He was a member of Lessley Hunting Club where he served as president for a number of years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, David Louis Bell.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lee Waddell Bell; three daughters, Laura Katherine Bell Littleton and husband, David, Amy Renee Bell Greer and husband, Thomas, all of Woodville, and Lee Ann Bell Fortenberry and husband, Jason, of Amite, La.; eight grandchildren, Taylor and Luke Littleton, Madelen, Laramie and Haze Greer, all of Woodville, and Mattie, Wil and Presley Fortenberry, all of Amite; two brothers, Douglas Bell and John Bell, both of Woodville; and a dedicated caregiver, Ashley Stanley of Woodville.
Pallbearers will be Samuel Smith, David Bell, George Martens, John Dale, Ned Chargois, Bran Dawson, Luke Littleton and Overton Nicholas.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of Lessley Hunting Club and Dr. L.J. Owens.
