TEN YEARS AGO — Buster Brown of Fort Smith, Ark., battles the heat and the humidity as well as some ups and downs to narrowly edge past Max Miley 4:14.45 to 4:15.03 to win the Senior 1, 2, 3 Division during the final day of competition at the Natchez Bicycle Classic.

FIVE YEARS AGO — Winning pitcher Matt Barnes and Luke Brumfield combine to strike out 16 batters while allowing just three total hits as Huber Construction rallies to defeat Coca-Cola 5-2 to win the Natchez Dixie Youth Major League championship.
