Green joins Miss. Children’s Home Services staff

JACKSON — Candice Green, a Natchez native, has joined Mississippi Children’s Home Services as research and outcomes coordinator. Her job responsibilities include creating and maintaining a system that will allow Mississippi Children’s Home Services staff to stay in contact with clients when they discharge from the agency’s social and behavioral health programs. Green will collect the outcomes measures and analyze this data, which is reported in the Mississippi Children’s Home Services annual and quarterly Reports.
Green, a Natchez resident, was recently employed as a researcher with the University Medical Center. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Tougaloo College and a Master of Public Health degree from Jackson State University. She is a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and Alpha Epsilon Lambda Honor Society.
Through its affiliates, Mississippi Children’s Home Society and CARES Center, Inc., the agency offers an array of programs including: adoption, psychiatric residential treatment, therapeutic group homes;,foster care, children’s shelters, special education, home-based services and peer prevention education.
