A convenience store on U.S. 61 north was reportedly robbed at scissor point early Saturday morning.
The victim reported a stocky, black male with a dark complexion entered the store at about 5:35 a.m., held up a pair of scissors and demanded money, Natchez Police Chief Mike Mullins said.
The alleged robber was given a small amount of cash, and jumped into an extended cab truck, Mullins said.
The Natchez Police Department is investigating the matter, and anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 442-5000, Mullins said.
