Hoffpauir hits for the cycle

LAS VEGAS — Vidalia native Jarrett Hoffpauir hit for the cycle in his Triple A baseball game Sunday.
Hoffpauir was 4-5 with a walk, single, double, triple and home run. He scored five runs.
Hoffpauir, who played for the St. Louis Cardinals major league team for a short stint last summer, is currently with the Toronto Blue Jays organization playing for the Las Vegas 51s. The Blue Jays claimed Hoffpauir off of waivers last November from the Cardinals.
He is batting .333 on the season.
Hoffpauir played college baseball for the University of Southern Mississippi, where he currently hold the record for most hits in a season and most RBIs in a season.
