On Monday at 12:11 pm Louisiana State Police, Troop E responded to a fatal crash involving two vehicles, one of which was a motorcycle. The crash occurred on U.S. 84, milepost 179, in Concordia Parish near the Ridgecrest Community.

The crash involved a 1996 Chevrolet Lumina, driven by Heaven T. Ray, 18, of Saucier, and a 1981 Honda motorcycle, driven by Marvin G. Cutrer, 51, of Ferriday. The Chevrolet Lumina was entering U.S. 84 from a private driveway, while the Honda motorcycle was east bound on US 84. The two vehicles then collided on U.S. 84 ejecting Cutrer from his Honda motorcycle.

Cutrer was transported to Natchez Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Ray was not injured in the crash, but her passenger Ms. Lacey A. Lofton, 22, of Wisner, La., received minor injuries.

Routine toxicology tests are pending.

Concordia Parish Coroner’s Office will also conduct an investigation to determine the exact cause of death.
