NATCHEZ — Two men reportedly robbed a Natchez fast food restaurant at gunpoint early Thursday morning.
No arrests have been made.
The two men entered Wendy’s restaurant on D’Evereux Drive through the back door at 12:28 a.m., Natchez Police Chief Mike Mullins said.
The back door to the restaurant was reportedly unlocked when the two suspects entered, Mullins said.
Three female employees were in the restaurant at the time, Mullins said.
One of the alleged robbers forced one of the employees into the restaurant’s office, where he took a small amount of cash.
The two men fled out the back door, Mullins said. They climbed into a 1990 tan Buick.
No one was injured in the incident, Mullins said.
An employee called 911 to report the incident.
An officer was on U.S. 61 North and responded to the call within 60 seconds of receiving the call, Mullins said.
The officer had just driven past Wendy’s before he got the call and saw a vehicle pull into the restaurant parking lot, Mullins said. The officer said he thought it was the same vehicle the witness identified the suspects driving.
A cash reward is being offered for anyone with information leading to the arrest of the suspects.
Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 601-442-5000.
