McNeil to work as historian at Historic Jefferson College

Historic Jefferson College is pleased to announce that Kay McNeil of Natchez is now employed as a historian at the site.
A graduate of Friends University in Kansas with a degree in art and history, McNeil has lived in Natchez since the 1970s.
With experience teaching high school history and working at the Burn, Magnolia Hall, and Rosalie, McNeil brings an in-depth knowledge of Natchez history and a passion for the community with her to Historic Jefferson College. In addition to historical research, McNeil will develop and present educational programs for school and adult groups, coordinate public events and maintain the site’s museum collection.
