SOUTHAVEN (AP) — Entergy says it is cutting its electrical rate by 9 percent for more than 50,000 DeSoto County residents in the fourth quarter of the year.
Entergy’s regional customer service manager, Pat Nelson, said Friday the reduction is due to favorable power management activities by the company and other reductions.
She said a typical residential customer using 1,000 kilowatt-hours per month will see a monthly bill decrease from about $103 to about $94.
Entergy services most of DeSoto County, including Southaven, Horn Lake, Hernando and Walls.
