Natchez High School needs your support

This is a plea for you, the parents, educators and other citizens who are interested in our schools to join us, the Natchez High School PTA. We believe in and are dedicated to our public schools, which have wonderful children, caring families, and extraordinary teachers and staff. Our school also faces serious challenges, and we can and must do better by reaching all of our students and families. What better way than being a part of your PTA? Please join us.
The No.1 reason to join the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is to benefit your child. In doing so, you also help your school. There is no better way to know what’s happening in your school than being a member and attending PTA meetings. PTA has great resources. We offer a variety of programs designed for parents as well as students. You have the opportunity to put your skills to use for a good cause — your child and all the children of Natchez High. By being a member of the Natchez High PTA, you have the opportunity to share ideas, concerns and experiences with other parents and educators, and discuss issues that are on your mind. By getting involved in your child’s school, you will be part of the solution helping to make positive changes.
Our meetings are held the fourth Thursday in each month at 6:30 p.m. in the school’s cafeteria. Our dues for the year are only $6. Your high school student needs your support! Be a role model. Demonstrate to your child the importance you place on education by becoming a member of the Natchez High School PTA.
Natalie Fennix is the president of the Natchez High School PTA.
