NATCHEZ — The Moving Warriors Ruritan will sponsor a clean sweep at West Primary starting at 8 a.m. Saturday.
The project is a part of the annual Make a Difference Day.
“We feel we should start with our babies by showing them how to give back to the community,” group President Arella Bacon said.
The group is inviting all churches, businesses, organizations, schools, parents and community leaders to come out and help clean up around the school.
Barbecue and trimmings will be served for lunch.
“Watch how many dollars can be saved by donating your time or materials for this worthy cause,” Bacon said.
The group will be working to clean the yard, sand and stain doors, build cabinets, plant flowers, clean rooms, place shrubs around the tricycle track, place lattice around each air conditioner, place gravel under the swing sets, repair the fence, paint the parking lot and clean the windows.
