VIDALIA — Services for infant Dru Christopher Stricklin, of Vidalia, who was born and died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Young’s Funeral Home in Vidalia with the Rev. Dwayne Thomas officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Vidalia.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Dru was born Jan. 9, 2011, in Natchez, the son of Tracie Anne Jones and Christopher Vaughn Stricklin.
He was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandfather, Ray Stricklin; maternal great-grandfather, Howard Latham Jr.; maternal great-grandparents, Lynfield and Doris Jones; and one uncle, Joey Stricklin.
Survivors include his parents; one brother, Braden Randall; one sister, Gracie Stricklin, both of Vidalia; maternal grandparents, Bob and Sylvia Jones of Vidalia; maternal great-grandmother, Annette Bennett of Jackson; paternal grandparents, Phyllis Carroll and PawPaw David, both of Vidalia; paternal grandfather, Mike Stricklin; paternal great-grandmother, Maxine Stricklin, both of Natchez; paternal great-grandparents, Vaughn and Pat Crook of Vidalia; five aunts and uncles, Teryl Jones, Todd Jones and wife, Renee, Michael Stricklin and wife, Bethany, Amanda Wingfield and husband, Ryan, and Nicholas Carroll; six cousins, Kaitlin and Michael Jones, Mackenzie and Bryant Jones, Aaron and Avery Stricklin; and a number of other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
