WOODVILLE — This week’s devotion was led by Miss Liz McGraw. She used her expertise with her bow and arrow to demonstrate the concept that sin is missing the mark.
The book fair begins on Monday.
This past week the Biology I class enjoyed their field trip to the LSU Natural Science Museum. They were accompanied by their teacher, Miss Pamela Leak.
Fall Festival was a great success this year. The school really appreciates all the hard work and time given by Mrs. Patti Percy and Mrs. Teresa McDuff, and thanks all the parents and patrons that came out and supported WCCA. The teachers did a wonderful job on their game booths and much fun was shared by all. The WCCA cheerleaders performed a fantastic black-out pep rally.
Basketball is soon approaching. Coach Josh Fortier will be coaching the junior high boys and coach Ray Olive will be coaching the junior high girls, and varsity boys and girls basketball. Please look each week for the schedule and come and support our basketball players.
On Halloween day the elementary enjoyed a play performed by the first graders called “Halloween Nights.” The children did a good job and we hope to see another play soon.
