The Friends of the Natchez City Cemetery invite you to join us for our annual fundraiser, an evening of enthralling, entertaining and informative vignettes learning about some our proud ancestors who inhabit our 100-acre treasure.

You will begin your evening at the Natchez Visitor’s Reception Center where you will be greeted by the music of Burnley Cook and his calliope. Boarding buses at your reserved times guides will ride with you to the cemetery. Here you will begin your tour learning about a few of our many veterans:

4Major Issac Guion, The American Revolution — portrayed by Sam Jones

4James Miller — War of 1812- portrayed by Dr. Fred Emrick

4Wilson Brown, first African American Medal of Honor — portrayed by Darrell White

4August Doerle — Civil War — portrayed by Rusty Jenkins

4Emma Gene Wensel Venn — Red Cross Nurse WWI-portrayed by Sallie Ballard

4Col. Allen Adams, USAF, WWII, Korea, Vietnam — portrayed by Drew Adams

You will pass the confederate encampment provided by the Sons of Confederacy, Major General T. Martin, Camp 500. And no evening would be complete without entertainment provided by the merry troupe of Terry Trovato, Mickey and Katie Davis and Scott Nisula.

Come join us for a delightful evening, 5:30 to 8:30 Friday or Saturday or for the elderly and handicapped Sunday afternoon 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church.
