Auburn to deck the halls for you

Once again the Auburn Garden Club is inviting the public to its annual Christmas Open House.
The decorations will be in place and you are welcome to visit and view this remarkable structure that belongs to the city and its inhabitants.
We will be open from 2-4 p.m. on the afternoon of Saturday, Dec. 9, awaiting you and your friends.
On this occasion we will also be recognizing some of our long-term members and hoping that all former members will take advantage of this time to come see us as we honor those who worked so hard in the early days so that we are able to offer this opportunity today.
It would be great to see all those who are involved in city government and all those who are part of the tourism industry at this special time.
It is our way of saying a very sincere “thank you” to all who have had a hand in the preservation of this most important Natchez landmark and a sincere Merry Christmas to all of Natchez and the surrounding area.
I wonder what Lyman Harding and Levi Weeks would think if they could see us now.
If you have never visited Auburn and you live in this area, you owe it to yourself to take just a little while on the afternoon of Dec. 9 and visit us.
You certainly will not regret the time spent.
As the newly elected president of the Auburn Garden Club and a relative newcomer to the area, I look forward to greeting each of you personally.
Phyllis Feiser is the President of the Auburn Garden Club.
