I’m thankful for my heavenly Father and my earthly father. I want to give praise, honor and glory to both of them for all that they have done for me in my life! God has taught me that the greatest gift on earth is love! We are all put on earth to reach out and help others in need, and it’s when we do this…that God will surely take care of us. We are all stewards of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. We are to be his hands to lead others to him, his voice to preach his word and his great love for all mankind all around this great earth!
My (Daddy) Father is William C. Montgomery, better known as “Gray”. He was born in Jonesville, La. in 1927. He is 80 years young and has the energy and the spirit of a teenager!
He has accomplished so much in his 80 years on this earth and I want to share just a few of them with you.
He is a great inventor and has patents that are all in the records in Washington, D.C. He has an invention that will give a never-ending supply of energy to the U.S.A. and around the world as well. The drawings of his inventions remind me of the fantastic drawings of Leonardo da Vinci and Benjamin Franklin’s inventions.
He has a great and superior mind and intelligence that can match up with the greatest minds of the last 200-plus years
He can also play any musical instrument you put in front of him. He’s an expert guitar musician and has played music with everyone from Jerry Lee Lewis to Loretta Lynn and fronted the show for Cowboy Lash LaRue. He plays the fastest guitar this side of the Mississippi River.
He grew up during the Great Depression and his daddy had T.B. and so did Jimmy Rogers’. His Daddy thrashed pecan trees and picked cotton to help make a living. He got 50 cents for every 100 pounds.
He represented Natchez at the World’s Fair in New Orleans. He’s also in the Rock a Billy Hall of Fame. His name can also be found all over the internet with his inventions and his musical accomplishments! Go to the Google search engine and type in Gray Montgomery and read all about him and his One Man Country Band. He has a CD out now and is available. He also had cut a lot of records before CDs ever came along. He is the last of the old time cowboys. His heroes are God first, then Jimmy Rogers, Roy Rogers and Gene Autry.
He can still play a guitar with the best of them and they are in awe of how fast his fingers can move up and down the guitar strings like butter!
He’s a full-time student at Co-Lin in Natchez and is taking a course in Heating and Air Conditioning Program. His teacher’s name is Mr. Bob Savino. My dad gets up every day at 5:30 a.m., gets on his knees and prays to God, then goes to school. He just finished a final test that had 100 questions on it and he only missed two!
Not only that, but every Thursday night my dad and I are taking a class in digital photography at Co-Lin that is taught by Mr. Allen Richard. I can’t keep up with him and I’m only 51 years old.
We could all learn a lot from the great man and his mind!
My dad can fix anything that plugs into an electrical outlet, and even tell you how the electricity gets from point A to point B. Between my three sisters and myself and a lot of relatives, he has saved all of us an astronomical amount of what we would have had to pay a technician to fix everything from our air conditioner to rewiring our cars.
He brain is like a computer and he’s also a mathematician and a genius! Fixing a circuit board on a pinball machine is like him putting a pre-school puzzle together!
His invention is called tide compensated swell powered generator).
He sent the governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger a copy of his invention and one to presidential candidate Mrs. Hillary R. Clinton. He’s also a real estate appraiser and worked for Century 21.
He’s got the answer to the world’s power shortage and it’s 100 percent environmentally safe and won’t harm any of God’s creatures or pollute the air! I think that alone deserves a standing ovation for my father, Mr. W.C. “Gray” Montgomery.
He’s a wonderful daddy and has provided all of his daughters with a home, a care and most of all, love! Thanks for being the “Best Dad Ever.”
From all four of your loving daughters, Patricia, Debbie, Missy and Linda.
Debbie Montgomery is a thankful daughter.
