With three seconds left to go in the first quarter, Rachael Wagoner hit a jumper to put the Lady Vikings up 10-7.
It was all Vidalia after that.

After halftime, Vidalia didn’t let off.
The Vikings put another 11 points up in the third quarter, and added 5 more in the fourth quarter to finish off Sicily Island.
“We need to use this momentum for our game against Ferriday tomorrow,” Vidalia head coach Damus Smith said.
Wagoner finished the game with 10 points and Tyshica Rodgers added 7.
Anjelica Branson led Sicily Island with 21 points.
Vidalia faces Ferriday today at 6 p.m. on the second day of the tournament.

Vidalia used two big runs in the second quarter to pull away from Block and take a 19-point victory.
The Vikings led only 15-12 at the end of the first quarter but used a 12-0 run and an 8-0 run in the second quarter to take control of the game.
Vidalia outscored the Bears 20-5 in the decisive second quarter.
“I was impressed with our defense and shot selection,” Vidalia coach Robert Sanders said. “But there were times we got out of synch.”
The Vikings were able to coast to a victory in the second half.
Gary Steweart led the Vikings with 15 points while Brandon Hawkins scored 12 and Quatrell Thomas added 10.
Block was led by Chris Davis with 12 points and Charles Everitt with eight.
