JONESVILLE — Services for Jeffery Ann Pierce, 58, of Jonesville, who died Monday, Oct. 3, 2011, in Jonesville, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Jonesville with the Rev. George Wortham officiating.

Burial will follow at Heard Cemetery in Manifest, La., under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Jonesville.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church.

Mrs. Pierce was born March 29, 1953, in Clarksdale, the daughter of Thomas Jeffery Ware and Louise Caffey Ware. She was a teacher and a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Leonard “Buddy” Pierce Jr.; one son, Leonard “Vurch” Pierce III and wife, Ashley, of Pineville, La.; two sisters, Lyn Stringer and husband, Bud, of Mandeville, La., and Beth Chiles and husband, John, of Nashville; one niece, Caffey Roth; and one nephew, Jeffery Hood.
