VIDALIA — A two-car accident in Vidalia Wednesday evening resulted in only minor injuries.
The 1984 Dodge SUV driven by Richard Edward Bunch collided with the 2006 Chevrolet pick-up truck driven by Samuel E. Dolley when Bunch apparently cut his vehicle out of the turning lane on Carter Street at Cedar Street, Police Chief Billy Hammers said.
Dolley and a passenger declined medical treatment, and Bunch and his passenger, Robert Lee King Jr. were transported to Natchez Regional Hospital unconscious, Hammers said.
“It is my understanding that they woke up and everything was fine,” he said. “They left with very little treatment.”
Hammers did not know the names of the victims immediately Wednesday night.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
