Natchez Garden Club announces pageant members

The Natchez Garden Club has announced the members of the 2008 Royal Court for the Historic Natchez Pageant during Spring Pilgrimage, March 7 through April 5.
Pages, generals and maids to the king and queen include:
Whitney Anne Mims is the daughter of James “Boo” Mims and Kay Mims. She is the granddaughter of Robert P. Mims and the late Virginia Mims of Natchez and Louie and Arlene Jones and the late Patsy Jones of Bude.
Whitney is a 2005 graduate of Cathedral High School. She attended Mississippi State University for two years and is currently attending Hinds Nursing School. At MSU she was a member of Kappa Delta sorority, Mississippi State Student Association and Sigma Alpha Lambda Honor Society.
Whitney enjoys painting and hanging out with friends. Previous pageant participation includes Can-Can for four years, Soiree’ four years and Soiree’ “Sweetheart” both Junior and Senior years.
Hayley Lynn House is the daughter of Prentiss and Karen Hinson and Kenny House. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Graves of Ferriday and Alpha Blount of Ferriday and the late O.C. House.
Hayley is a 2005 graduate of Trinity Episcopal Day School. She attends Louisiana State University where she is majoring in respiratory therapy. She is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority.
She is a member of First Baptist Church in Ferriday. Previous pageant participation includes Little Maypole, Big Maypole, Showboat, The Picnic at Concord and Polka.
Lauren Estelle Clayton is the daughter of Charles and Pam Clayton. She is the granddaughter of Richard and Cora Olier of Natchez and Anna Clayton of Clayton, La., and the late Robert W. Clayton.
Lauren is a 2005 graduate of Vidalia High School. She attends Louisiana Tech University majoring in Kinesiology. She is a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority, College of Republicans, AWS, student recruiter, football recruiter and former Miss Vidalia 2005.
Lauren enjoys football, basketball, running, swimming, reading, riding horses and travel. Her previous pageant participation includes Little Maypole, Big Maypole and Showboat.
Caroline Lee Edwards is the daughter of Duke and Paula Edwards. She is the granddaughter of Betty Thornhill of Vidalia and the late Delane Thornhill and Gayle E. Edwards of Natchez and the late Ellen B. Edwards.
Caroline is a 2005 graduate of Cathedral High School. She attends Mississippi State University majoring in marketing. At Cathedral, Caroline was a member of the National Honor Society, Emerald Tide Drill Team, voted most dependable and the peer ministry team. At MSU, she is a member of the MSU Chapter American of the Marketing Association and Catholic Student Association.
Caroline enjoys shopping, traveling and MSU sports. Her previous pageant participation includes Little Maypole, Big Maypole, Polka Favor Girl, Picnic and Soiree.
LeeAnna Wilson Callon is the daughter of Sim Callon and Debbie Wilson. She is the granddaughter of Sim and Vera Callon of Natchez and Morris and Gloria Willson of Monterey, La.
LeeAnna is a 2005 graduate of Trinity Episcopal Day School. She attends the University of Southern Mississippi majoring in journalism.
LeeAnna enjoys reading, writing, photography, English, history and travel. Her previous pageant participation includes Little Maypole, Big Maypole, Flower Girl in The Wedding, Picnic, Junior Bridesmaid, Bridesmaid and Polka.
Faith Anne Brown is the daughter of Walt and Lashon Brown. She is the granddaughter of Joan Brown of Lake St. John, La., and Walter and Missy Brown of Natchez and Robert and Julie Biglane of Natchez and the great-granddaughter of Billy Ray and Willese Willis and Alvin and Dorothy Roy of Natchez.
Faith Anne is in kindergarten at Cathedral Elementary School. She attends St. Mary Basilica.
Faith Anne enjoys swimming, playing with her dolls, reading, art and playing with her dog, Lucy. She wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up. Her previous pageant participation includes Little Maypole and The Picnic.
Wade Wyatt Craig is the son of Wade Craig and the late Elizabeth Craig. He is the grandson of Josephine Craig of Ferriday and the late Wadley Craig and Elsie Rhodes of Starkville and Roland Rhodes of Natchez.
Wyatt is a 2005 graduate of Trinity Episcopal Day School. He attended Copiah-Lincoln Community College and now attends Mississippi State University majoring in Accounting. He was team captain of the Trinity basketball team and a member of the Jefferson Street United Methodist Church youth group from 7th through 12th grade.
Wyatt enjoys the lake, fishing, hunting, watersports, Jet Skis, four-wheelers, anything outdoors, basketball and football. His previous pageant participation includes Little Maypole, Big Maypole, Fisherboy, Picnic, Polka, Ring Boy in The Wedding.
Christopher Ryan Rasco is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Rasco. He is the grandson of Mr. L.C. Vance of Natchez and the late Joan Vance and Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Rasco Sr. of Natchez.
Christopher is a 2005 graduate of Cathedral High School. He attended Mississippi State University and is now attending Copiah-Lincoln Community College majoring in Banking and Finance. He is a member of the College Republicans and Ducks Unlimited.
Christopher enjoys hunting and fishing. His previous pageant participation includes Little Maypole, Big Maypole and Frontiersman in the Raising of the Flag.
Andrew Chase Brown is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Bradford. He is the grandson of Ms. Linda Warren of Denver, Colo., and Mr. and Mrs. Bobby R. Bradford of Olla, La.
Chase is a 2005 graduate of Cathedral High School. He attends Copiah-Lincoln Community College. Chase has his EMT license and has applied for Paramedics School.
Chase enjoys water skiing, snowmobiling, going to ML baseball games and spending time with family and friends. His previous pageant participation includes Little Maypole, Big Maypole, Picnic, Groom in The Wedding and Polka.
Donald Preston Hicks is the son of Kay and Edward Bourdin and Donald N. Hicks. He is the grandson of the late Harold F. Hicks and Jean Simmons Hicks of Natchez, Mr. and Mrs. Cornie E. Hudson of Natchez, and the late Lyvonne Hudson.
Preston is a 2005 graduate of Cathedral High School. He attends the University of Southern Mississippi majoring in Construction Engineering. He is a member of Kappa Alpha Fraternity.
He enjoys hunting, fishing and being with family and friends. His previous pageant participation includes Little Maypole and Big Maypole.
Charles Michael Lazarus II is the son of Mike and Kim Lazarus. He is the grandson of Rudy and Carolyn Krueger of Natchez and Charles and Anne Lazarus of Natchez.
Michael is a 2005 graduate of Cathedral High School. He attends Copiah-Lincoln Community College with plans of entering the Instrumentation and Electronics programs.
Michael enjoys hunting, sports, music and spending time with family and friends. Previous pageant participation includes Little Maypole, Big Maypole, solider in Raising of the Flag, drummer in Raising of the Flag and Confederate Flag Bearer in the Court.
John Michael Powell is the son of Patricia Powell and the late Bobby Powell. He is the grandson of the late John and Dixie Starnes and the late Honor and Daisy Powell.
John Michael is a 2005 graduate of Adams County Christian School. He attends Mississippi State University majoring in Agronomy. John Michael was a member of the basketball team and golf team at ACCS.
John Michael enjoys golf and hunting. His previous pageant participation includes Little Maypole, Big Maypole, Raising of the Flag, Polka, and The Wedding of Jefferson Davis.
Madeline Sydney Smith is the daughter of Carson Brent and Rosalie V. Smith. She is the granddaughter of Carson Edward and Kay Smith of Vidalia and Daniel F. and Mary Vanderlick of Cheneyville, La.
Madeline is in Kindergarten at Cathedral Elementary School. She is a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and the youth group. She plays T-Ball with the Vidalia Girls Softball League and soccer with the Natchez Youth Soccer League. Madeline also attends ballet class at Middleton School of Dance.
Madeline enjoys playing with friends, many outdoor activities, dancing and reading. Her previous pageant participation includes 3 years in the Little Maypole.
