NATCHEZ — Eugene A. Bullock, 48, 52 Morgantown Road, was arrested Friday on charges of possession of child pornography.

He was being held without bond at the Adams County Jail.

Adams County Sheriff’s deputy Maj. Jody Waldrop said Bullock’s illicit activities were made known when family members where helping him move.

“They found what appeared to be nude photographs of children,” he said.

Waldrop said the family immediately alerted the authorities.

A search warrant was obtained very soon after authorities were alerted to the situation, Waldrop said.

In the time between the originally discovery of the photos and the deputy’s search of Bullock’s new residence, Bullock attempted suicide, Waldrop said.

“He tried to overdose on pills,” he said.

Waldrop said as soon as Bullock was released from the hospital he was placed under arrest.

Deputies confiscated traditional and digital photos from Bullock’s home.

Waldrop said all of the photographs are of children in Bullock’s immediate family.
