McComb named Air Force civilian of the month

Department of the Air Force Civilian Dewonda C. McComb has been named the 379th Expeditionary Mission Support Squadron Civilian of the Month.
Selection was based on the individual’s exemplary duty performance, job knowledge, leadership qualities, significant self-improvement, specific achievements, notable accomplishments, and community service and support.
McComb, an information technology specialist with 12 years of military service, is assigned to Scott Air Force Base, Belleville, Ill.
She is the daughter of Helen T. and Willie L. McComb of Phillips Road, Lorman.
In 1991, she graduated from Port Gibson High School, and received a bachelor’s degree in 1995 from Alcorn State University, Lorman. She earned a master’s degree in 2002 from Webster University, St. Louis, Mo.
