NATCHEZ — Rendy Clark, a sophomore at Natchez High School has met the qualifications for nomination for membership into the National Society of High School Scholars. The society recognizes and encourages academic excellence. Nomination confirms superior academic status.

Clark has also been invited to attend the 2008 Congressional Student Leadership Conference, a program of LeadAmerica, which recognizes academic excellence, extracurricular involvement and leadership potential.

She is the daughter of Preston and Shasta Clark.
