NATCHEZ — A house was broken into on West Steirs Lane Monday evening.

The homeowner came home and noticed his front door was open and when he went to his bedroom, he saw that a window was broken.

A television and a VCR had been taken from the house.

Sgt. Craig Godbold said the homeowner thinks he knows who broke into the house.

“We have a suspect, but have to get him positively identified,” Godbold said.
