Funeral services set for CPSO deputy

VIDALIA — Funeral services have been set for the Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office deputy killed in a Sunday motorcycle accident.
Visitation for John Mott Jr., 41, will be 5 to 9 p.m. today at Fishnet Worship Center in West Monroe and will continue at the church from 10 a.m. until time of services Friday.
The funeral will begin at 2 p.m., and burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Chatham.
Mott died after a collision between the motorcycle he was riding and the pickup truck driven by Joseph L. Drummer.
Drummer was charged with vehicular homicide, DWI and possession of marijuana, among other charges.
