Jake Middleton’s lead over mayor Phillip West narrowed Wednesday morning after absentee and affidavit ballots from three precincts were counted.

Democratic Party officials counted ballots in Wards 1,2,3 and 5 Tuesday. After Tuesday morning’s count mayor Phillip West gained 166 votes to Jake Middleton’s 132 votes gain. West narrowed Middleton’s lead by 34 votes.

Unofficial numbers show Jake Middleton leading with 2649 votes (51.8 percent) to Phillip West’s 2460 votes (48.2 percent). For updated numbers go to Election Results .
