I would like to express my appreciation and admiration for Dr. David and Sara Blackburn.

Their dedication to this wonderful project enriches the life of this lovely community. It is not only their knowledge and varied skills, but also their warmth and ability to get people to work together that is so noteworthy.

It has been my privilege to be here in Natchez for the second week of the Festival of Music. I have been overwhelmed by the variety of programs, the talent of the performers, their support for each other and the enthusiastic response of the audiences at each event.

Natchez you have a treasure.
